And finally...an actual card on my blog!

I decided that I should probably get a jump on my Christmas cards, so I did. One of my favorite ways to color is using the Gamsol Magic technique. I was fortunate enough to actually see Cecilia Ross demonstrate this technique several years ago at an event held by our mutual Stampin' Up! upline. I have been hooked ever since.

When the mood strikes, I like to grab several rubber stamps, stamp several images in StazOn Jet Black, on Shimmery White or Whisper White paper and then sit in front of the TV and color with my Prismacolor Premier pencils, Gamsol and stumps.

I got a few moments peace the other night and was able to color four images. Then I used those images to make some cards. Here is the first one I finished.

RECIPE
Stamps: Pelican image is from Impression Obsession, sentiment from SU! Tiny Talk
Ink: StazOn Jet Black, Adirondack
Paper: SU! Pacific Point, Baha Breeze, Whisper White
Accessories: Snowflake eyelets, silver brads, SU! Dimensionals, Stickles, Prismacolor Premier colored pencils, Gamsol, blending stumps
